- alternative possibility – Expressing Empathically? – A list to check if replies are in verbal empathy. If not, find an empathic reply that could fit.

Second unit – Self-Empathy – My Needs
- Language that Obscures Choice
How to translate “I have to, I should, etc.) in “I choose to …”
Third unit – Hearing No – Life behind a “No” (kids, others)
- Go through a list of “Nos” and practice hearing the Yes behind the No
Demo and working in the group - Individual exercise: Ask people to take a minute and think of a situation where somebody says “No” to them and write it down. Work in pairs 2×10 minutes (20 or 30 minutes) to translate the No into Yes to Feelings, needs and request.
- Work in the whole group – questions and harvesting
Fourth unit – Hearing No – Life behind a bigger “No”
- Individual exercise: Ask people to take a minute and think of a situation where somebody has a bigger “No” to you and write it down. Work in the group or in pairs?
